I went into the ultrasound doctor on friday morning to have my 2nd trimester u/s. after the doctor, first, answers personal calls and texts two times, tells me milo is a girl (don't worry, milo is still a boy), and sends me back into the room because he "forgot to take a measurement," he decides to tell me that milo also has a small abdomen. so, of
31 weeks, 0 days (return of the 1st trimester symptoms and worse!)
Ju and i had an appointment with the midwife on monday and all is well. my amniotic fluid is normal but on the lower side so i have been going in every 2 weeks to make sure it doesn't go any lower. other than that, everything is as normal as could be. after the mw appt, we went in to a special foot doctor to see why my foot still hurts even thought
It's a boy !!!! little milo is due on halloween and i'm just so excited! florida was great! we had a gender neutral baby shower and i got tons of cute little baby things (of course.) i've gotten into contact with le leche league paris to get some info and unfortunately meetings don't start back up until september. feeling: very cruddy lately. tired
Baby is almost 7 lbs now! he grew a ton in the last two weeks which is really great as we were a bit concerned on how tiny he was. the amniotic fluid is still low but not as concerning as it was 2 weeks ago, however my placenta is now a grade 3. maybe that means milo will make a bit of an early appearance? let's hope so. we're still doing weekly vi
33 weeks, 4 days (descended testicles! a real reason to party.)
Everything was great at the last appointment. my amniotic fluid levels are fine and milo is doing great in there. his testicles have already descended and he is still head down. it's crazy how long he has stayed head down to prepare for birth- since i was at 21 weeks. he better stay that way!! as you can see, i'm getting humongous! >>>>>> i've real
Everything is still going awesome. it's a little annoying to pregnant in the summer but we're already at august which means fall is almost here!! i couldn't be more excited to feel some chill in the air. julien and i discovered a parenting group here in paris called the anglophone natural parenting association. (http://anpa.weebly.com/) it costs 25
I went to see my midwife on tuesday and all went great! i also got my official blood test results for the quad screen, which tests the baby for down syndrome and trisomy 18, which are chromosomal abnormalities and also checks for neural tube defects, such as spina bifida. i have a 1/10,000 chance of having a child with any of the above which is pre
I decided to have a second opinion on my amniotic fluid so ju and i went in to get it checked out on tuesday (5 days ago.) he said my fluid is low enough to cause a bit of concern and baby is on the smaller side of normal. also my placenta is more mature than it should be at this point in pregnancy. seriously?! i had to go and get a second opinion
Little foot. i had an appointment on monday and everything is perfect and milo is still a boy! ha! (i mean, not that it would matter.) he is above average in every area of growth. since my appointment at 22 weeks, i have heard a lot of really negative things about the u/s tech that assessed me. none of these things surprised me but definitely put m
Last tuesday, ju and i went into the birthing center because i was having shooting pains through my cervix from 1pm-10pm and wanted to check to make sure everything was fine. it seriously felt like lightning going through my vagina. it turns out i was having mini contractions so i am taking a medicine to keep my uterus from contracting whenever i f
